This ain't no Law & Order!

Yes, you may remember another Rake series starring Greg Kinnear. It failed and well should have. The original Australian series is so well written, so well acted, it is a very tough act to follow. Outrageous, clever and cynical, the show lead is Richard Roxburgh. Greg Kinnear is no match for Roxburgh's Cleaver Green, the true Rake. This is a superb lead performance surrounded by a spectacular cast of regulars and episodic turns from actors such as Hugo Weaving, Toni Collete and Sam Neill, in a particular dog of a role that will leave you wincing and laughing at the same time. 

A rollicking good time with 4 seasons, the good news is that the 5th season is due by mid 2018.
